Information for Potential Tenants
Albany Lettings are dedicated to offering a high level of service.
Our website is updated regularly and we hold as much information about each property as we can. We will not waste time by showing properties that do not meet with your criteria.
If you decide to take one of our properties you will find our staff friendly and helpful. We will make your move as easy as possible.
Tenant Services
Here to help
Use our years of experience in the Edinburgh and Lothians market to help you locate your ideal home, at a price you can afford. With our portfolio of available properties and our friendly service you can expect first-class guidance in finding a place to live that suits your requirements.
All tenants must provide references. We require ID, Employers reference and Previous Landlords reference. In the case of students we also require proof of acceptance of study from the relevant institution. Students will be required to provide us with a referenced guarantor in case of rental default.
Managing your money
We require 1.5 times the monthly rent as a deposit. By law your deposit will be held by a government approved organisation. Albany uses the services of Safe Deposit Scotland for this purpose. They will adjudicate should there be any disputes regarding deposit returns at the end of the lease.
Apply for a property
If you have recently viewed a property with us and would like to apply for it please download and complete the attached application form and return it to applications@albanylettings.com noting in your covering email the names of any joint applicants. Please ensure you return a separate completed application form for each tenant who is applying.
